Early January 2026, Marines of the US Air force landed on the Venezuelan President Maduro resident and he was arrested and bought to American soil. Some people called it American imperialism, some called it violation of international law and some called it wrath of American Justice. With much fanfare and the trademark Donald Trump style, it was announced that, the USA will not control Venezuela’s oil reserves.
American public and gloablly it is considered that, US will enrich itself with Venezuelan oil. However, the question arises, whether USA really needs Venezuelan oil. Answer is plain No.
Then who needs Venezuelan Oil?. Answer is China. US President Donald Trump is trying to choke China. China’s demand for oil is ever increasing and its prime suppliers are Iran and Venezuela. No wonder, before President Maduro’s capture, he met with Chinese delegation.
